1- Disconnect from the main power source your garbage disposal appliance.
2- Use a pair of pliers to remove any large pieces of glass.
3- Remove the glass.
4- Vacuum the disposal of the garbage.
5- Reset the disposal of your garbage.
- Reconnect the disposal of waste to the power source.
- Cover the drain partly with an old plate. This will prevent any object from flying up, but still allow drainage of the water.
- Turn on the faucet with cold water.
- Switch on the disposal of garbage. The remaining small pieces of glass are now to be cut up and washed down the drain.
- If the garbage disposal still jams, it may still contain glass. Switch it off right away, switch the cold water, and repeat from the start.
6- Remove from your sink the garbage disposal.
